Toronto Blue Jays fans take to social media in disgust after losing out on yet another high profile free agent. Even Jeff Passan felt bad for Blue Jays fans.

"Blue Jays fans deserve better than this. So many exhausting near-misses & the resulting team just isn't good enough". - Ben Nicholson-Smith

And then to add insult to injury Nicholson-Smith hinted at Ross Atkins getting played by his old friends in Cleveland.

"Guardians played things masterfully today." - Nicholson-Smith

Blue Jays fans let it all out on social media letting everybody know just how they feel.

Even major networks were poking fun at Blue Jays fans right now.

They were never going to be a prime destination for free agents, not after an 88-loss season, with franchise cornerstones Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette pending free agents, a lacklustre farm system unable to replenish an expiring core and four American League East rivals that appear to be on much better trajectories.

More than anything else, a Guerrero extension is the Blue Jays' only chance at extending their current competitive window given how the rest of the off-season has transpired.

There's a debate to be had about their order of operations heading into this winter, and if some of their outcomes might have been different had Guerrero been locked up before free agency.

After losing out on Ohtani, Soto, Burnes, Fried, Hernandez and now Sasaki its time to focus on Vladimir Guerrero Jr and call it a day. The only way they have a chance at locking up any future free agents is to clean up their owen back yard first.
